Bottega
Bottega is a family wine and grappa producer in the Veneto, best known for its mirrored Gold Prosecco. Its home is Villa Rosina at Bibano, in the province of Treviso. Aldo Bottega built the business on grappa, and his three children led the move into Prosecco in the 1990s. The Bibano winery makes the family's Prosecco DOC range. Around it sits a wider group: sister estates in Valpolicella, Montalcino and Chianti, a grappa distillery, and the Alexander glassworks. Tours of the winery and the distillery run by appointment.

About Bottega
Bottega began in Bibano di Godega di Sant'Urbano, on the Veneto plain west of Conegliano. Aldo Bottega built the family business there around grappa distilling and traditional-method sparkling wine. The narrow lane outside the headquarters, Vicolo Aldo Bottega, still carries his name. His three children, Sandro, Barbara and Stefano, led the move into Prosecco in the 1990s. They grew Bottega into a multi-estate group and kept it in family hands.
Bibano is the Prosecco anchor. The company buys Glera grapes from contract growers across the wide Prosecco DOC zone and bottles its sparkling range here. That includes Gold Prosecco, the mirrored bottle that became the company signature in the 2000s. Petalo, a sweet Moscato Spumante, and the alcohol-free Bottega Zero range are also made and packed at Bibano.
The group does almost everything itself. A winery at Vittorio Veneto makes still wines from the Veneto and Friuli. A cellar at Valgatara in Valpolicella makes Amarone and Ripasso. Tuscan estates at Montalcino and in Chianti cover Brunello and Sangiovese. At Brugnera, the liqueur factory turns out grappas, gins and infusions. The Alexander glassworks on the same site supplies the group's decorated bottles.
Visitors can tour the Bibano winery and the distillery next door, by appointment. There is no on-site shop for direct sales. Bookings and product questions go through [email protected].
