About Bottega

Bottega started in Bibano di Godega di Sant'Urbano, on the Veneto plain west of Conegliano, when Aldo Bottega built the family business around grappa distilling and traditional method sparkling. The narrow lane the headquarters sits on, Vicolo Aldo Bottega, still carries his name. His three children Sandro, Barbara, and Stefano took the company through the 1990s expansion into Prosecco and built it into a multi-estate group while keeping ownership in the family.

The Bibano headquarters is the Prosecco anchor. From here the company sources Glera from contract growers across the broader Prosecco DOC zone and bottles its sparkling range, including the mirrored Gold Prosecco line that became the company signature in the 2000s. The Petalo sweet Moscato Spumante and the alcohol-free Bottega Zero range are also vinified and packaged at the Bibano facility.

Bottega operates as a vertically integrated group. Beyond Bibano it runs a winery at Vittorio Veneto for Veneto and Friuli still wines, a Valpolicella winery at Valgatara for Amarone and Ripasso, plus Tuscan estates at Montalcino and Chianti for Brunello and Sangiovese. The Brugnera liqueur factory produces grappas, gins, and infusions; the Alexander glassworks at the same site supplies the group's signature decorated bottles.

For visitors, the Bibano headquarters offers guided tours of the winery and adjacent distillery by appointment. The company does not operate an on-site shop for direct sales; bookings and product enquiries are routed through [email protected].

What Bottega makes

Bottega's current bottle selection is led by Prosecco DOC. The clearest grape signal comes from Glera.
