  At Pian del Bichi on the SP91 road near Ribolla, in the Roccastrada area, in the Maremma of southern Tuscany. Grosseto is 20 km away and Follonica 25 km. The nearest exit of the SS1 Aurelia coast road is Giuncarico.

  Yes, and every visit is booked ahead, on Winalist or by request through the estate. There are four options. Two are tastings of three or four wines. Two add a tour of the farm, the cellar and the museum before the tasting. Tours last about two hours and groups go up to 20 people.

  Yes. The estate went fully organic in June 2021. Its wines and olive oil carry the organic label. Since 2018 it has also held the Equalitas seal for sustainable wine, and it publishes a report on that every year.

  Six wines, all Maremma Toscana DOC. Calasole is a Vermentino white and Syrosa a Syrah rosé. Le Focaie is mostly Sangiovese. Sassabruna and the red named after the estate both blend Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Syrah. There is also a Viognier, and an organic olive oil.

  The Zonin family, through the Zonin1821 wine group, since 1999. Alessandro Gallo, who also directs the group's Castello di Albola estate in Chianti, has run Rocca di Montemassi since 2016.
