  The white label is the normal release. The red label goes on a Riserva, and only in years the house judges good enough, which is a handful of times a decade. Red-label bottles sell for several times the price of white.

  Bruna Giacosa, Bruno's daughter, with Dante Scaglione, her father's long-time winemaker. Bruno died in 2018.

  Some of them. For most of his career Bruno bought grapes rather than land, and was famous for knowing which rows to buy. He bought Falletto at Serralunga d'Alba in 1982 and later plots at Asili and Rabaja. The estate now farms about nineteen hectares.

  Because it helped save the grape. Giacosa was one of two producers credited with bringing Arneis back from near extinction in the 1960s. The Roero Arneis is still one of the best-known whites in Piedmont.

  No. There is no visitor centre. The address at Neive is an office and a cellar.
