Try with: Beef braised in Barolo, wild boar, lamb
Truffle, cheese and risotto
The wine's own white truffle note meets the real thing.
Try with: Risotto with white truffle, cheese fondue
Dark chocolate
Its chocolate and liquorice notes link it to bitter chocolate.
Try with: Dark chocolate
A short splash decant softens the first-pour edge and opens the aromatics.
Aim for the cooler end on a warm day; warmer end opens up more aromatics.
