Prosecco Rose only became a legal category in 2020. The Consorzio Tutela Prosecco DOC rules require 85 to 90% Glera with 10 to 15% Pinot Nero, made as a red wine for colour. They also ask for at least 60 days in tank on the yeast, and a stated vintage. This bottle's 85/15 blend sits right at the Glera-rich end of that window, made in Gambellara in the Veneto.
