Fine tannins and a firm structure, well balanced.
Long, on fruit and spice.
Deep ruby with violet glints, almost opaque. A concentrated red that speaks of its land.
Calabria in five fields

Roast kid and lamb

Try with: Roast kid, roast lamb
Rich baked pasta
A dense red for pasta china, the rich baked pasta of Calabria.
Try with: Pasta china
A short splash decant softens the first-pour edge and opens the aromatics.
Aim for the cooler end on a warm day; warmer end opens up more aromatics.
